As we enter this next phase in our journey and lve our live pre-alpha testing period, our deepest and hrtfelt thanks goes to those who played for their input and words of encouragement. We listened and lrned a lot, making some big changes during this period. And, we’re not done: We’ll still be growing the game and twking things throughout the soft launch period, with your feedback. As the game comes to your region, we invite you to join the journey with us!
Here at PopCap, we’re huge fans of the original PvZ™ games. So, you can imagine that the challenge of making the next grt mobile game for the brand is a daunting task and one we haven’t taken lightly. While this game will not replace other PvZ titles (these will remain in their respective stores, as usual), we’re thrilled to bring you a modern mobile experience, providing something fun and fresh for your phone.

A: In Plants vs. Zombies 3, we’re bringing back your favorite plant and zombie characters – plus new pals for your backyard. You’ll defend your town in classic, lane-based tower defense combat, while you encounter new zombie bosses that will put your skills to the test. You can also connect with rl-life friends and other players to share seeds, share strategies, and compete for prizes.
A: PvZ 3 is a fresh way to play and not mnt to replace the original PvZ or PvZ 2 – those games are amazing in their own ways. For this game, we wanted to incorporate social play, faster combat, and deeper synergies for the plant tm. These changes mnt that some of the old elements (sorry, Lawn Mowers) were reworked to fit this new vision.

Additionally, you’re no longer required to place Sunflower on your lawn to keep your plant army pumping. We decided to build strategy into the game in other ways, like providing multiple options to improve your sun production, which we think will make your battles more tactical and exciting. In this game, Sunflower’s role has been expanded in new ways and will be a key part of your strategy.
A: We tested portrait mode in development as a way to make the game more phone-friendly. We recognize that many people play mobile games on the go or while multitasking on their phone. Displaying the game in portrait mode allows you to more sily play with one hand and provides smoother transitions between the game and other applications.
A: We love the 2D art from the original games, but wanted to provide our brand with more flexibility and artistic opportunities for the future (we’ve got plans, folks!). Updated 3D graphics also allow us to show off the characters in better detail, so you can truly appreciate their wackiness.

A: Yes, PvZ 3 is free to play. Mobile games are now more accessible than ever, and we want to make sure that everyone is able to play – and that they can have fun and be successful without having to pay. While this game is definitely a labor of love here at PopCap, our families still gotta t. So, we’ve added optional microtransactions that can help you speed up progression.
A: Soft launch is an important time during game development that allows us to gather feedback we’ll use to make the best game possible. Because we’ll be making updates during this period, some of the content you see will be under construction and may change when the game finally goes live. Additionally, more ftures will be added over time, expanding your experience. Stay tuned!
A: Soft launch will begin in the Philippines, with more countries being added to the list as time goes on. In order to participate in the soft launch for PvZ 3, you'll need to have an Android Galaxy S6 tier-device with KitKat (4.4) or higher. For Apple devices, you'll need at lst an iPhone 6S or higher device with at lst iOS 13.1 or higher.

This isn't the Garden Warfare series that EA have pushed so heavily either, this is a true Plants VS Zombies experience, and a real return to form.
You can play the game right now, but if you live outside of Ireland, Romania, or the Philippines, you might find it difficult. But hey, that's exactly what this guide is for. We're going to go over everything you need to know to download and play Plants VS Zombies 3 right now, because I know that's what you really want. Two New Zombie Games For Your Smartphone, Tablet
Just read below for everything you need to know, and you'll be playing Plants VS Zombies 3 before the end of the day.
In order to play Plants VS Zombies 3 on iOS right now, you'll need an account from Ireland, Romania, or the Philippines. If you don't have that, you can either change the region of your App Store account, or you can create a brand new account.
First, if you need to create a new Irish account, we have a guide for that. Follow all of the instructions and log in. This is unnecessary if you can change the region of your current App Store account to Ireland.

Once you're logged into an Irish account, you might find it difficult to locate Plants VS Zombies 3 on the App Store by searching. Click this App Store link on your iOS device to be taken directly to the Plants VS Zombies 3 page on the App Store. From here, simply add the game to your account and begin to download.
You should now be able to play Plants VS Zombies 3 on your iOS device. You can even log out of your Irish account now and go back to your usual account, and the game will still be playable - though it may require your other account for updates.
It is possible to play the game on Android too, though if you're outside of the soft-launch regions it isn't easily done.
Plants Vs. Zombies™ Heroes On The App Store
You can change your account region attached to your Google Play account, but it requires a payment option from that country. That might be awkward. Regardless, you can find Google's official instructions for changing regions here.
It'll be easier for you to make a new, Irish Gmail account, and then using that to log into Google Play. You may also require a VPN of your choosing which is set to Ireland.
Once everything is in place, you can find Plants VS Zombies 3 on the Google Play Store here. You can download an .apk file for Plants VS Zombies 3 from the internet, but as of my testing, it doesn't work, and might be for an older beta version.
